The official name of the Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park is Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park in the Northeast area of the Vuc Vong interchange, Ha Nam province. The project is divided into two phases.
Phase I – Area A: The Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park was approved for the investment policy of the infrastructure construction and business project under Decision No. 411/QĐ-UBND issued by the Prime Minister on March 22, 2021, and was established under Decision No. 817/QĐ-UBND issued by the People’s Committee of Hà Nam province on May 27, 2021.
Phase II – Area B: The Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park was approved for the investment policy of the infrastructure construction and business project under Decision No. 648/QĐ-UBND on May 27, 2022.
The Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park is planned to meet the demand for industrial and other services, attract investment projects into the industrial park in alignment with the national industrial park development strategy. This aims to promote the process of industrialization, modernization, and socio-economic development for Duy Tien Town in particular and Ha Nam Province in general.
I. Overview of the Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park
To align with investment capacity and current conditions, the People’s Committee of Ha Nam province has initiated the research and survey for the detailed planning of the Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park investment project.
Phase I: 100 ha – Total investment capital of 1,103 billion VND
Phase II: 49.6 ha – Total investment capital of 541 billion VND

There are numerous educational and vocational training institutions providing 82 trades with 16 key trades.

The Dong Van I Industrial Park Expansion enjoys a prime location in the Northeast of Vuc Vong intersection, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province. It is adjacent to the Cau Gie – Ninh Binh Expressway, National Highway 1A, and National Highway 38 within the administrative boundaries of Duy Tien Town.

III. Infrastructure in the Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park
The space of the Expanded Dong Van I Industrial Park is comprehensively organized along the main transportation routes of the industrial park. This includes public facilities, green spaces, gates, fences, and factories, all ensuring a unified landscape and creating a green architectural environment for the industrial park. The first phase of the industrial park was put into operation in Q4/2023.
Internal road: Main roads are 36 meters wide with 4 lanes; secondary roads are 24 meters wide with 2 lanes.
Electricity supply system: 110/22 KV substation with a designed capacity of 2x63MVA.
Clean water supply system: Water is sourced from the Song Hong water plant with a phase I capacity of 100,000 m³/day, delivered through a pipeline network that combines ring and branch networks with diameters ranging from D110 to D300 to each plot.
Wastewater treatment system: Wastewater treatment plant with a capacity of 2,500 m³/day. The amount of wastewater is calculated as 80% of the monthly water consumption.
Fire prevention and fighting system: Water supply and fire hydrants are distributed around the industrial park.
Telecommunications system: The Dong Van control station has a capacity of approximately 15,000 lines.
Administrative center: Located at the main traffic junction, these are the focal points of the industrial park. The buildings are designed with modern architecture and include offices for the management and administration of the industrial park, tax office, customs, bank, post office, fire prevention and fighting, and other services such as exhibition centers, product showrooms, medical centers, training centers, and dining establishments.
Customs: Ha Nam has a customs sub-department for the industrial parks and is building an “Inland Clearance Depot (ICD) and industrial services” in Thanh Liem and Duy Tien districts to facilitate the quick resolution of import-export procedures for businesses in Ha Nam and neighboring provinces.
Other amenities: Green belts with water ditches are arranged around the boundaries of the industrial park to ensure a safe distance from residential areas and other functional zones.
