The Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster was established under the Decision No. 3613/QD-UBND issued by the People’s Committee of Long An Province on October 9, 2018. Accordingly, the Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster has a total construction area of 43.94 hectares; of which the industrial land area is 32.88 hectares.

The Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster is located in Tan An City, Long An Province, within the southern key economic region. It is considered one of the satellite cities of Ho Chi Minh City and the gateway city to the Mekong Delta region. Tan An is recognized as one of the cities with the highest rates of urbanization and industrialization in the country, with a concentration of a young, abundant, and skilled workforce.

II. Location of Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster

The Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster is located to the west of Tan An City, Long An Province, which is an important transportation hub in the region. It is connected to Ho Chi Minh City and the southwestern provinces via National Highway 1A, to the Dong Thap Muoi region via National Highway 62, and to the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway CT01 (which intersects National Highway 62 approximately 4 km from the city center and is one of the key roads driving the city’s development).

The Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster is planned into 06 subdivisions for the construction of factories and warehouses, covering an area of about 33 hectares, specifically as follows: Area A: 5.57 ha – Area B: 12.96 ha – Area C: 12.96 ha – Area D: 7.53 ha – Area E: 0.71 ha – Area F: 1.95 ha.

The technical area is arranged within the planned zone and treated according to standards before being discharged into rivers and streams. The construction includes low-rise buildings and planting of greenery for environmental aesthetics.

The total land area for the construction of technical sectors in the industrial cluster is 0.8433 ha, with a building density of ≤30% and a greenery density of 20%.

Utilities and Infrastructure:

Power supply system: The 22KV lines within the planning area provide a minimum power capacity of 9,000 kW.
Clean water supply system: Capacity of 1,840 m3 per day and night.
Wastewater treatment system: The wastewater treatment area spans 0.5697 hectares. The waste transfer station covers 0.2736 hectares.
Telecommunications system: Provided by Viettel/FPT/VNPT.
Other amenities: The fire protection system is fully equipped with fire hydrants.

Additionally, the Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster features a waterway transportation channel within the planning zone, which is highly convenient for gathering materials and transporting goods.

At the beginning of 2020, the Plastics Chemicals Group Joint Stock Company (PLASCHEM) began construction of the Tu Phuong BOPP Film Plant on a 40,000 square meter plot within the Tu Phuong Industrial Cluster in Long An Province. Prior to that, PLASCHEM had signed a contract with Bruckner Machinenbau GmbH & Co., KG (Germany) for the supply and installation of BOPP film.
