Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park, Bac Ninh Province

Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park was established under Decision No. 537/QĐ-UBND issued by the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province on April 28, 2009, with a planned area of 250 hectares. The project was initially approved for detailed construction planning at a 1/2000 scale under Decision No. 499/QĐ-UBND on April 28, 2008, by the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province, and the detailed planning was adjusted under Decision No. 134/QĐ-UBND on January 28, 2011, by the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province. According to the approved and adjusted detailed plan, Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park has a planned area of 252.6 hectares, located in the communes of An Binh, Mao Dien, Hoai Thuong and the town of Ho, in Thuan Thanh District, Bac Ninh Province.

On January 25, 2022, the project continued to be adjusted for detailed construction planning at a 1/2000 scale under Decision No. 37/QĐ-UBND by the People’s Committee of Bac Ninh Province. Accordingly, the planned area of Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park was reduced from 252.6 hectares to 252.0 hectares to align with the regional development plan approved by the Prime Minister. The industrial land available for lease is 170 hectares, accounting for 67.31% of the industrial park’s area. Recently, the project was granted Environmental License No. 389/GPMT-BTNMT on October 11, 2023, by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.

III. Infrastructure in Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park

Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park has been developed with a focus on infrastructure by the investor Shun-Far, with construction commencing in January 2011. The designed structures are harmoniously built, creating a cohesive spatial and architectural environment suitable for the landscape of Thuận Thành II Industrial Park.

Internal traffic system: The internal roads in the industrial park are divided into main roads and secondary roads, with the main roads featuring 4-6 lanes and the secondary roads having 2 lanes. The traffic system is designed with reasonable cross-sections, not only meeting transportation needs but also serving as spatial axes, ensuring orderly and unified architectural landscapes within the industrial park. The lighting system is installed along the roads.

Power supply system: The power supply in the industrial park is ensured by the national grid, with 35 kV and 110 kV lines. Underground transformer stations are built along the roads and around the industrial park, ensuring convenient power supply to each factory and plot within the industrial park.

Clean water supply system: A groundwater extraction and water treatment plant with a capacity of 11,000 m³/day-night has been built to meet the production needs of the factories in the area.

Wastewater treatment plant: a plant with capacity of 2000m3 per day-night is separate from the stormwater drainage system. It includes a gravity sewer system that collects wastewater for localized treatment to meet Grade C standards before being discharged into the general drainage system of the industrial park. Recently, the developer of Thuan  II Industrial Park has upgraded and renovated the centralized wastewater treatment plant to meet the production and business needs of the enterprises, ensuring that the wastewater is properly treated before being discharged into the receiving source, preventing any impact on the surrounding environment. The quality of treated wastewater meets the A standard of QCVN 40:2011/BTNMT before being discharged into the receiving source.

Fire Protection System: The fire protection system is installed along the roads in the industrial park, with water pipes reaching each plot and factory.

Telecommunications System: The modern information system meets international standards, fully and promptly meeting all communication service requirements, both domestic and international. The 4G and 5G signal transmission stations at the industrial park’s administration area ensure coverage for the entire industrial park.

V. Investment incentives in Thuan Thanh Industrial Park II

Businesses in Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park are entitled to the following investment incentives: 

Corporate Income Tax:

• 100% exemption from corporate income tax for the first 2 years.
• 50% reduction in corporate income tax for the following 4 years for new investment projects in the industrial park.
• The tax incentives are calculated from the date the project generates taxable revenue or from the 4th year of operation, whichever comes first.

Import Tax: 

• Exemption from import tax for goods listed in the tax incentive category, imported to establish fixed assets for the project.
• Additionally, investment projects in the industrial park may receive higher tax incentives if they fall under the categories of supporting industries or high technology projects.

Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park began construction in January 2011 and was put into operation in 2012. Currently, the industrial park’s occupancy rate has reached 100%, with nearly 60 investment projects from secondary investors from countries such as China, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
