Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park, Vinh Phuc Province

On September 24, 2007, Hong Hai Science and Technology Group (FOXCONN) was approved by the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province for the research location and detailed planning of Binh Xuyen Industrial Park. After that, Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister to be added to the planning of industrial parks in Vinh Phuc province according to Official Dispatch No. 1821/TTg-CN dated November 26, 2007 with the expected planning area. About 700 hectares initially. In February 2008, Fuchuan Company Limited (part of Foxconn Group) was granted an investment certificate by the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province for the Binh Xuyen II industrial park development project and the project to build a phone factory in this industry.

On December 22, 2014, Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park was adjusted to reduce the planning area to 485 hectares (down 215 hectares compared to the original planning area) according to Official Dispatch No. 2628/TTg-KTN of the Government Prime Minister. Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park continues to be adjusted to reduce the planning area from 485 hectares to 393 hectares (down 92 hectares) according to Official Dispatch No. 1815/TTg-KTN dated October 13, 2015. At the same time, according to the content of the official dispatch, Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park is separated into two industrial parks: Thang Long Vinh Phuc Industrial Park with an area of 213 hectares and Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park with an area of 180 hectares.

Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park is built in 2 phases:

Phase 1: Area 42.2 hectares, Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee approved detailed planning at scale 1/2000 in Decision No. 1775 dated June 5, 2008 and adjusted detailed planning at scale 1/500 in Decision No. 3651 dated December 22, 2011; Decision No. 1174 dated April 25, 2014; Decision No. 3524 dated December 2, 2014.
Phase 2: Area 63.1 hectares, approved planning research location in Document No. 4308 dated June 12, 2019; The detailed planning was approved in Decision No. 1839 dated July 23, 2020 of the People’s Committee of Vinh Phuc province on adjusting the detailed planning of Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park (4th time); approved for construction investment in Decision No. 342/QD-TTg dated April 4, 2023.

Thus, after detailed planning approval and many adjustments, Binh Xuyen II Industrial Park has a total area of 105.3 hectares (a decrease of more than 74 hectares compared to the originally planned area of 180 hectares). ), of which the area of industrial land for lease is 76.7 hectares (accounting for 72.83%).
