Amata Industrial Park, Quang Ninh Province

Amata Industrial Park was approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy in Decision No. 352/QDD-TTg dated March 29, 2018 on a planned area of 714 hectares with a location within the administrative boundary of Quang town. Yen (communes and wards of Song Khoai, Minh Thanh, Dong Mai, Cong Hoa). The infrastructure developer implementing the project is Amata Ha Long Urban Joint Stock Company (belonging to Amata Group) and the total registered capital for project implementation is over 3,500 billion VND (155 million USD), implemented in 05 phases. (Phase 1: 123 hectares; Phase 2: 120 hectares; Phase 3: 299 hectares; Phase 4: 92 hectares; Phase 5: 55 hectares), the entire project is expected to be completed in 2026.

Amata Industrial Park is oriented to become a modern multi-industry industrial park, focusing on attracting and creating new development motivation for Quang Ninh province.

II. Location of Amata Industrial Park

Amata Industrial Park has a very convenient connection to Lach Huyen deep-water port, and at the same time, is located on the road directly connecting to Mong Cai border gate. Therefore, the industrial park is assessed to have a lot of potential to attract investment due to saving costs and time for transporting goods, especially through seaports.

Clean water:

• Amata substation and 22kV transmission line network are allocated to each factory

Wattage:

• Transformer station 1: 3 x 63MVA (189MVA ) – 2023
• Transformer station 2: 252 MVA – Planning to deploy

Wastewater treatment:

• Capacity: 12,000m3/day (Estimated 2024: 20,000m3/day)
• The amount of wastewater is calculated as 80% of the monthly water supply

Telecommunications and internet:

• Many supplier options with fiber optic cables installed to each plot of land

IV. Investment costs

• Infrastructure rental price (Rent): 110 USD/m2/entire lease term (until March 2068). Unit price may vary depending on location and size of land for rent
• Infrastructure management and maintenance fee: 1 USD/m2/year

• Annual land rent: Exempt until 2030, then applied according to the Decision of the People’s Committee of Quang Ninh province
• Electricity supply price: Applied according to EVN’s electricity supply price list plus management fee of 2 USD/KVA/month
• Water supply price: 0.5 USD/m3, calculated based on actual water usage
• Wastewater treatment fee: 0.35 USD/m3, calculated as 80% of clean water used

The corporate income tax rate is 10% for the first 15 years
